Charley Myers, Head Coach and Trainer
Charley Myers has been involved with soccer his entire life and currently trains several teams and individuals in the Baltimore area.
As a player, Myers attended the University of Baltimore as an athletic grant recipient from 1972-1975. As a four-year starter, Myers earned honors including All Mason-Dixon (72-75), All South (72-75), and All-America (74,75). In 1975, his team won a national championship and Myers received Offensive MVP of the NCAA tournament.
As the 13th draft pick, Myers went on to have a professional career in the North American Soccer league where he played with the Dallas Tornadoes and Seattle-Tacoma Tides. He also traveled with the New York Cosmos as a guest player and for promotional work in several cities. During this same time, Myers played with some of the best, including Bruce Arena and Pele.
Myers was inducted into the Maryland soccer Hall of Fame in 1996 as well as the University of Baltimore Hall of Fame in 2006.
After retiring as a player, Myers entered the coaching world to assist in his daughter's development.
Currently, he coaches the U-17 girls Baltimore Bays Soccer Club team. He began working with them at the ripe ages of eight and nine and has gone on to win the Maryland State Cup in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. At U-12, the Bays were semi-finalists in Region 1. Tournament wins in the premiere and top flights include:

Myers work speaks for itself, with 13 of his players currently on the Maryland Olympic Development team, seven on the Region 1 team, and three who have been selected to youth National Teams.
Myers specializes in developing technical ability in young players to aid them in reaching peak performance. With his knowledge and experience, Myers is able to cover all aspects of the game. He brings passion and intensity to the table and holds the ability to make good players into great players.
Myers trains on both an individual and team basis. He currently resides in Perry Hall, MD.
